After you broadcast the deposit, wait for network confirmations. The order page may still say "Awaiting deposit" until the chain includes your tx. Once we see it, the swap starts and the status updates — no extra form to fill.

If an order cannot finish, funds stay recoverable.
- The desk flags a failed swap automatically — you do not open a user profile.
- Refunds return to the address you sent from, minus network fee when the chain charges one.
- You usually do not file a form; keep the Exchange ID.
If you still need help, email support with that Exchange ID.

Example: swap Bitcoin to Ethereum (ETH)
- Step 1. In the "Send" field, select Bitcoin and enter the amount. In "Receive", select Ethereum.
- Step 2. Choose fixed or float rate, paste the wallet address that should receive ETH, then click "Exchange Now".
- Step 3. Send Bitcoin to the deposit address on the order page. After the required confirmations, ETH is sent to the address from Step 2.

Rates, fees & confirmations

Fixed rate
Lock in the price shown when you create your order — that is the amount you will receive.
- 0.9% service fee + network fee.
- If the market moves more than 1.2% before your payment appears on the blockchain, you can request a refund or continue at the current market rate.
Important: The amount sent must exactly match your order. Otherwise, you will be prompted to refund or continue at the market rate.
Float rate
The final rate is set once your payment receives the required blockchain confirmations. If the market goes up, you receive more; if it goes down, you receive less.
- 0.45% service fee + network fee.
- The final rate is determined within 10 minutes after your transaction reaches the required confirmations.
Example: You swap 1 BTC for an estimated 35.23627 ETH by TunnelSwap. With a fixed rate, you receive exactly 35.23627 ETH. With a float rate, the ETH amount can be higher or lower depending on changes in the market rate.

You can choose from two exchange strategies:
- Fixed rate: TunnelSwap fee 0.9% + network fee. The exchange rate is fixed at the time of order creation.
- Float rate: TunnelSwap fee 0.45% + network fee. The exchange rate is set only after your transaction arrives and is confirmed by the network. The order amount may change from the moment the order was created due to changes in the market rate, both up and down.
The network fee is a payment to miners for processing a transaction; its amount is individual for each blockchain (including when you send BTC or ETH, or receive another asset).

Waiting time depends on the network fee you set and how busy the chain is. In most cases swaps finish within minutes after those confirmations (often about 1–5 minutes). There is no KYC review step that holds the order.

If you send a deposit with a low network fee, confirmation can take much longer. The order only continues after the required confirmations arrive — a low-fee Bitcoin or Ethereum tx may sit unconfirmed while the network is busy. Use a normal or recommended fee from your wallet when you want a faster swap.

Network fees are per-chain and change with congestion. A higher fee usually means higher priority and faster confirmation. Most wallets suggest a sensible fee automatically.
If you already sent on Bitcoin or Ethereum and confirmation is slow, you may be able to bump priority with RBF (replace-by-fee) in your wallet. For other chains, wait for the required confirmations shown on the order page.

Check that the address network matches the coin you selected in "Receive". Paste a standard address from your wallet for that asset. If you selected USDT-TRC20, ERC-20, or another network, a wrong-chain address will be rejected. Mismatched networks are the most common cause of an "invalid address" warning.
Orders & Exchange ID

Order status updates in real time on the order page — keep it open until the swap finishes when you can. When deposit and payout transactions appear on-chain, explorer links show on that page so you can follow both legs of the pair.

If your deposit has not arrived before the order timer ends, the order page lets you:
- Continue at a floating rate — the swap runs after the deposit is received and confirmed.
- Request a refund of the amount sent minus the network fee — enter the address that should receive the return.

- Reopen the order from browser history, or return with your Exchange ID if you saved it.
- Contact support (chat or email) with that Exchange ID — we have no account login to recover the page otherwise.

For privacy, orders are not kept long-term. Every order page is deleted automatically 24 hours after creation. Save your Exchange ID within that window if you may need to reopen a swap.
